2016 (fiscal year)
March 8   Mr. Komiyama (M1) received the Excellent Poster Award at Nano Tribology Research Center symposium.
March 8  Mr. Ogawa (M1), Mr. Komiyama (M1), Mr. Narita (M1), Mr. Ohmuki (B4) and Mr. Yamasaki (B4) presented our research results at sympoisum of establishment of Nano Tribology Research Center, held at UEC, Japan.
March 8  We held a symposium of establishment of Nano Tribology Research Center.
March 1  Nano Tribology Research Center was founded. Prof. Sasaki will manage it as the director.
November 1-2  Mr. Ogawa (M1) and Mr. Narita (M1) presented our research results at IRAGO2016, held at UEC, Japan.
September 2  Prof. Sasaki gave an introductory talk and then presented our research results about the mechanism of nano friction and adhesion at International International nanotribology colloquium.
September 2  Mr. Ogawa (M1) and Mr. Narita (M1) presented our research results at International nanotribology colloquium.
September 2   International nanotribology colloquium was held at UEC, Japan.
July 30  Our research paper on anisotropy of peeling of graphene has been published.
May 20  Our research paper on Gel fiber containing multiwall carbon nanotube has been published.
May 17  Our research paper on Tribo-phonon spectroscopy has been published.

September 18  Mr. Sho Imamura received the Poster Award for Young Tribologists at International Conference ITC 2015.
September 18  Co-researcher, Tomohiro Oyamada (Suzuki Masaru laboratory, M2) received the Poster Award for Young Tribologists at International Conference ITC 2015.
September 17  Prof. Sasaki presented our research results about mechanism of supelubricity at International Conference ITC 2015.
September 16  Mr. Sho Imamura (M2) and Mr. Masaaki Motohashi (M2) presented our research results at International Conference ITC 2015 held at Tokyo University of Science (Katsushika Campus), Japan.
September 15  Prof. Sasaki gave an invited lecture at International Meeting of Friction - from atomic to geophysical scales held at Earthquake Research Institute, The University of Tokyo, Japan.
June 17  Prof. Sasaki gave an requested lecture at MIPE2015, Symposium: "Simulation of Nanoscale Phenomena", held at Kobe International Convention Center, Japan.
2014 (fiscal year)
March 26-27  The 2nd nanotribology research station seminar was held at UEC.
          Lecturer: Dr. Martin Dienwiebel (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Fraunhofer Institute for Mechanics and Materials, Group Leader)
          I asked Dr. Dienwiebel for 4 lectures over 2 days. Lecture scenes
          Thank you very much for all the professors and students who attended the seminar despite the end of the fiscal year

March 11  Our research was selected as cover letter of "Nano Letters."
November 17  The 1st nanotribology research station seminar was held at UEC.
          Lecturer: Dr. Pierre Allain (IIS, University of Tokyo)
October 20  Our research paper on fracture of Si nanojunctions has been published.
October 7  Prof. Sasaki gave an invited lecture at MMM2014, 7th International Conference on Multiscale Materials Modeling, held at Berkeley, USA.
June 24  Prof. Sasaki gave an invited lecture at SIS2-14, The 20th International Symposium on Surfactants in Solution,"Surfactants in Tribology", held at Coimbra. Portugal.
June 10  Prof. Sasaki gave an invited lecture at CIMTEC 2014, Symposium: Session CC-5 "Material Solutions for High Demanding Tribology Applications", held at Montecatini. Italy.
June 1  Nanotribology Research Station (NaTRS) is established. Prof. Sasaki became a director of NaTRS.
